KUALA LUMPUR: The tattered Jalur Gemilang that was spotted flying at the Dataran Merdeka flagpole will be replaced with a new flag on Monday, said Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Mhd Amin Nordin Abdul Aziz.
Commenting on photos of the damaged flag that went viral on social media, he said that the flag was damaged recently due to strong winds and heavy rains that hit the city last Wednesday and Thursday.
