Zahid: Malaysia to stop soon-to-be-freed JI members from coming

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia is working with Indonesia to stop some 300 followers of former Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) leader Abu Bakar Bashir, who are going to be released from prison soon, from entering the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the immigration authorities of both countries are in contact on the matter.
