KUALA LUMPUR: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has landed himself in a controversy over remarks that he made during a speech at the launch of the Penang Institute's new office building last month.

In his speech on June 28, Lim had used the terms "biting the hand that feeds you" and "barking", offending some quarters as the terms were often used in reference to a dog.
