Three hurt as car rams into tree in bid to avoid trailer


The car driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle when he tried to avoid a trailer which had rammed into the divider on the right side of the carriageway.

ALOR SETAR: Three people in a car were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into a tree at KM105 of the North-South Expressway near Sungei Petani Thursday.

Gurun fire and rescue station operations chief Senior Fire Officer II Khairil Syamsul Mohd Yusof said the car driver is believed to have lost control when he tried to avoid a trailer which had rammed into the divider on the right side of the carriageway.
