A-G’s move to prosecute Lim expected, says Shafee

KUALA LUMPUR: Senior lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has defended the recent move by the Attorney-General (A-G) to lead a team to prosecute Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng over two graft charges saying that it is expected and nothing exceptional.

Muhammad Shafee said the A-G, as the Public Prosecutor, had prosecuted in cases which are serious, high-profile and involved VIPs or ministers.
