JOHOR BARU: Johor police will work closely with the Johor Islamic Religious Council (MAIJ) to stop the spread of Islamic extremism by Islamic State militants.
State police chief Comm Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin said Bukit Aman had instructed state police contingents to work with the respective Islamic religious councils.
