PETALING JAYA: The retail currency exchange rate for pound sterling is moving closer to the interbank rate.

Malaysian Association of Money Services Business (MAMSB) president Ramasamy K. Veeran assured the public that licensed money changers and wholesale currency businesses were doing their best to ensure exchange rates quoted for foreign currencies are swiftly adjusted to reflect prevailing market conditions.
