Police record statement from Pahang mufti for 'kafir harbi' remarks

KUANTAN: Police have recorded Pahang mufti Datuk Seri Dr Abdul Rahman Osman's statement over his kafir harbi remarks after police reports were lodged against him.

Pahang police chief Comm Datuk Seri Sharifuddin Ab Ghani (pic) said the case was being investigated by the Penang police.

"The mufti's statement was recorded at his office on Wednesday morning. Pahang police will facilitate the Penang police's investigation,” he said after breaking fast with widows and disabled children of state police personnel here on Thursday.
