PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has dismissed an appeal by the Government and two others over the method of calculation for general damages in an unlawful detention case.
The decision will enable five former Internal Security Act (ISA) detainees to get more than RM5mil in total damages, costs and interest within a year, said their lawyer Ho Kok Yew.
