Staff seize lorries after boss sacks them and vanishes

IPOH: Thirteen employees of a bread company’s marketing and distribution centre, claiming they were cheated of their salaries and other payments, have seized three company-owned lorries.

One of the employees, Abdul Hanif Yahya, 36, alleged that the boss packed up and disappeared after a letter of termination was sent to them via e-mail at 9.58am last Friday.
