PETALING JAYA: The appointment of the two women judges to the Selangor Syariah High Court is a “positive and welcomed” development, says Datuk Noor Farida Ariffin (pic).
Noor Farida, a member of the group of eminent Malays known as G25, said the appointments showed that the Selangor government was committed to upholding Islamic principles of justice and equality between genders.
