Ampang Park Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

KUALA LUMPUR: Some 62 registered strata title owners of Ampang Park Shopping Centre are applying to the High Court to get technical drawings and specifications from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) and two others to ascertain safety issues related to the construction of the MRT Line 2 project.

The applicants' lawyer Jason Ng Kau said his clients are claiming that there is no necessity to demolish the shopping centre over safety issues as contended by MRT Corp, as they believe there are none.
