KUALA LUMPUR: MCA respects Umno's decision to sack former deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and former Kedah mentri besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir from the party.
"We respect the decision made by Umno as we adopt the principle of not interfering in other component parties internal matters," MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai told reporters at the Wisma MCA on Sunday.
