Johor cops arrest 27 alleged Euro 2016 bookies

JOHOR BARU: Twenty-seven men, believed to be agents or bookies in a gambling syndicate, were nabbed for illegal betting over ongoing Euro 2016 matches here.

State police chief Comm Datuk Wan Ahmad said all the suspects were Malaysians, aged between 20 and 48, were arrested between June 10 to 23.
