Thai police bust call centre scam syndicate, 14 Malaysians nabbed


BANGKOK: Thai police have detained 14 Malaysians, including a teenage girl, and a Vietnamese woman in the San Sai district in Chiang Mai for suspected involvement in a call centre scam syndicate.

According to San Sai police station’s head of investigations, Capt Kunnasak Srikuratanont, the 15 suspected members of a syndicate were picked up from a rented house in Kluaymai, San Sai district at about 10am on Tuesday.
