Veterinary Department says enough chicken and beef for Hari Raya

PUTRAJAYA: There will be enough chicken and beef for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations this year, the Veterinary Services Department assured.

Its director-general Datuk Dr Kamarudin Md Isa said despite several challenges faced by farmers this year, including the economic downturn and the El Nino phenomenon, the production of poultry and beef remains stable.
