PETALING JAYA: Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar has been discharged from the Sultan Aminah Hospital.

The ruler was discharged yesterday morning.

The Sultan, who was admitted to the Royal Ward on Friday evening for a viral infection and gastritis, has since recovered and is expected to resume his full royal schedule soon.

“The ruler gave thanks for all the prayers and good wishes offered for his recovery,” according to a post on Sultan Ibrahim’s Facebook page.

Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said he had been to the hospital to visit the Sultan.

“I visited him on Friday. He was also in stable condition that time.

“The hot weather may have affected him while visiting Bazaar Ramadan,” said Mohamed Khaled.
