Indonesia's Jokowi pardons Malaysian fishermen duo

SEKINCHAN: The two local fishermen detained by Indonesian authorities for cross-border fishing have been pardoned by President Joko Widodo.

Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had contacted his counterpart and Indonesia's top official to secure the release of the two fishermen.
