Fire razes shoplot used as hostel for Pakistani workers in Johor

Firemen putting out the fire that destroyed a shoplot in Taman Sri Skudai.

JOHOR BARU: A shoplot, used as a hostel for 12 Pakistani workers, was destroyed in a fire in Jalan Perlaluan Besi 3, Taman Sri Skudai here.

Johor Fire and Rescue department senior fire officer C. Kesavan said that the fire had destroyed 100% of the unit which was located on the second floor of the building.
