Kuala Kangsar gets its own full-fledged varsity

KUALA KANGSAR: The royal town of Kuala Kangsar, renowned for its education institutions such as the Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK), now has its own university.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced that the Sultan Azlan Shah Islamic University College (KUISAS) here has been upgraded to Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah Malaysia (USAS).
