Sarawak to seek more autonomy


KUCHING: The state government will proceed with its request for greater autonomy from the Federal Government on a step-by-step basis as it is a complex matter.

Sarawak Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar said any devolution of power must be done within the framework of the Federal Constitution and comply with relevant laws such as the Delegation of Power Act 1956.
