PETALING JAYA: PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil has had his statement recorded over a sedition case involving Machang Bubuk assemblyman Lee Khai Loon.

Fahmi was present at the Petaling Jaya police headquarters on Tuesday afternoon to provide his statement to the police regarding Lee's case.

Lee had published a statement which allegedly condemned the police for removing three #BebasAnwar billboards in Selangor on PKR’s main Facebook page on March 22 and was called in to give his statements at the Central Seberang Prai district police headquarters in Bandar Perda, Penang.

Ready to give police his cooperation, Fahmi said he was questioned over “technical issues” relating to his role as party communications director and was queried about the dissemination of media statements in the party.
