MCA leader warns of ‘most serious crisis’ if Bill is endorsed

SEREMBAN: Malaysia is now faced with the most serious Constitutional crisis post-independence after PAS was allowed to table a Private Member’s Bill on Syariah Court amendments in Parliament last week.

State MCA chairman Datuk Seri King Lim Chin Fui said PAS’ proposed legislation would not only ruin race relations but would pave the way for the introduction of two criminal justice systems in the country.
