MALACCA: Stopping five secondary schools here from implementing the dual-language programme (DLP) is against the wishes of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron to enhance English proficiency among students, said an education group.
Malacca Action Group for Parents in Education (Magpie) chairman Mak Chee Kin said it was perplexing that schools which were keen to introduce DLP were not on the list while schools that weren’t were chosen.
