Hadi: Yes, we dealt with Barisan on tabling of Bill

KOTA BARU: PAS has admitted that it “negotiated” with the Barisan Nasional-led Government to allow the tabling of the Private Member’s Bill on Syariah Court amendments in Parliament.

Party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said he was obliged to push for the tabling of the Bill as there had been an increasing trend to restrict Islam as a way of life in the country.
