PASIR PUTEH: The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is haram (forbidden) as it does not fulfil the tax conditions outlined by the party’s Ulama Council, said PAS.
The council’s president Datuk Dr Mahfodz Mohamad said GST was forbidden as it had led to hardship on the people due to increases in the prices of goods.
