KUALA LUMPUR: A chief executive officer of a company acted in good faith when he asked the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to probe the financial irregularities at his workplace, a High Court heard.
Lawyer for Dr Syed Omar Syed Agil, who is the CEO of Institut Profesional Baitulmal Sdn Bhd (IPB), argued that his client had acted within the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
