KUALA LUMPUR: Public hospitals have been receiving 30% to 40% more patients over the past few months, said the Health Ministry’s Medical Development Division director Datuk Dr Azman Abu Bakar.

He said this had been the trend due to the current economic situation, adding most of these patients used to frequent private hospitals.
