KUALA LUMPUR: The defamation suit by senior lawyer Tan Sri Dr Muhammad Shafee Abdullah against the Malaysian Bar in relation to the Sodomy 2 appeal has been dismissed by the High Court here.
Justice Hanipah Farikullah said Muhammad Shafee failed to prove his claim against the defendants – senior lawyer Tommy Thomas, former Court of Appeal judge VC George, the Malaysian Bar and former Malaysian Bar president Christopher Leong Sau Foo.
