Consultant denies purchase of database for Citizens’ Declaration

KUALA LUMPUR: A consultant has denied allegations that she purchased a database containing names fraudulently used in the Citizens’ Declaration petition.  

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Syarul Ema Rena Abu Samah, also known, as Ratu Naga, swore on a copy of the Quran that she did know or had at any point contacted freelance programmer Azharuddin Othman, 30, with the intention of purchasing names from a database for RM5,000.
