Ka Chuan: Hudud bill will open up Pandora's box

PETALING JAYA: MCA secretary general Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan has questioned PAS' Private Members' Bill on hudud, saying that the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 is a clear demarcation between Syariah law and civil law.

“Our forefathers had great wisdom by enshrining such a rule within the federal constitution with the intent and purpose that the Muslim and non-Muslim communities can live in peace in this country.
