Chinese tourists contribute to rising trend of arrivals in first quarter


KUALA LUMPUR: China has continued to contribute to tourist arrivals in Malaysia for the first quarter of the year.

Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz said an initial survey by the Ministry among industry players such as airlines, tour operators and hoteliers found that the first quarter of the year showed a continued rising trend of arrivals from several markets, especially China.
