‘Teachers, too, not ready for English pass in SPM’


MALAYSIAN school teachers and students are still not ready to have English made a compulsory pass subject for the SPM examinations.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk P. Kamalanathan said the results of a study between 2011 and 2014 showed that both teachers and students did not have the skills required for the Government to enforce the compulsory pass for English.
