SOMEBODY in Penang wants to build an undersea tunnel. This reminds me of a former Malacca chief minister who wanted to build a bridge across the Strait of Malacca to Dumai, Sumatra.
The bridge proposal became the joke of the year after it was announced. People took it as a joke not because it was technically impossible but because there was no need for it.
