Bodyguard's family gets RM15,000 special aid


KUALA NERUS: The family of L/Kpl Ahmad Sobri Haron (pic), the bodyguard of former deputy minister Datuk Noriah Kasnon who was killed in the recent helicopter crash in Sarawak, has been given RM15,000 in special assistance.

The aid - RM10,000 from the state government and RM5,000 from the state Umno - was handed over by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to Ahmad Sobri's father Haron Muda during a closed-door luncheon in conjunction with Umno's 70th anniversary held at Duyong Marina Monday.
