Non-DAP head will ensure greater openness, says Umno

GEORGE TOWN: An Umno lawmaker has called for the post of the state Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman to be given to PKR instead of DAP for the sake of transparency.

Muhammad Farid Saad (BN-Pulau Betong) said a non-DAP head would ensure a greater transparency in the ongoing inquiry into the RM6.3bil undersea tunnel and paired roads project.
