KLANG: Klang MP Charles Santiago wants the Selangor government to suspend the Klang Municipal Council's (MPK) engineering department for failing to counter flash floods in the town.

He said the head of the engineering department and senior staff have been sluggish as well as lackadaisical over flood mitigation efforts and have been "sitting on it" for years even after numerous meetings with him and various residents' associations.
