JOHOR BARU: Smugglers of contraband are now using boats looking like marine police vessels in a bid to get away from being detected.
However, this ploy was uncovered when the marine police busted a smuggling syndicate using a speedboat painted with colours similar to the marine police patrol boats. Another escort boat was also seized.
