KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia must be considered the best entry point for Asean and Asian markets, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

"Because of its historical central position in Asia's trade, coupled with its proactive diplomatic approach and multiracial community, Malaysia has direct and privileged links to South-East Asian countries as well as China, India and the Middle East, and is an effective stepping stone to these markets," he said at the CCI France Malaysia annual gala dinner Friday.
