AN 11-year-old girl from Chongqing, China, lodged two police reports against her father who is too obsessed with mahjong, China Press reported.
The girl called the police twice within three days recently, claiming that her father did not look after her.
The police managed to find the father on both occasions, it reported.
The man, who had divorced, admitted that he liked to play mahjong and hoped his former wife, who takes care of their younger daughter, would take the older girl with her as well.
The daily reported that the girl’s uncle came to police station to pick her up when she refused to go back with her father after lodging the second police report.

Jintong did not have an answer and chose the fourth alternative given by the media, which was she did not know.
However, the 19-year-old singer, who released her first English album recently, said all the men were “very good”.
