Four charged with trafficking Illegals brought to court in connection with human-trafficking camps

KANGAR: Four illegal immigrants were charged in a magistrate’s court here with several counts of smuggling offences related to the Wang Kelian human-trafficking camps.

The accused, who are Myanmar, Bangladesh and Thai nationals, were charged with committing the offences under Section 26A of the Anti-Trafficking In Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007.
