PETALING JAYA: Passionate about food, she loved watching cooking shows and revelled in going to the market as a child growing up in Seremban.

Today, that girl – National Heart Institute (IJN) chief dietitian Mary Easaw (pic) – has turned out to be the cream of the crop in her profession after being named as one of the recipients of the 2016 Outstanding Dietitian of the Year award.
