PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has recorded the statements of Phang Li Koon, the previous owner of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's bungalow in Pinhorn Road, and Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre (KLIDC) owner Datuk Tang Yong Chew on Friday.

They arrived at the MACC headquarters here in two separate vehicles bearing Penang registration number plates at 8.30am, and both emerged from the building at 1.30pm.

The two left at 1.30pm for lunch break and returned at 2.30pm and resumed having their statements taken. It is still ongoing now.

Both Phang and Tang are believed to have given their statements to the MACC over the sale of a RM2.8mil bungalow in Jalan Pinhorn to Lim and the sale of land in Taman Manggis.

Phang sold the bungalow for RM2.8mil, which is allegedly below the actual market value.
