Federal Government approves RM 5.5mil grant for 110 Ba'Kelalan churches


PETALING JAYA: The Federal Government has approved a RM5.5 million allocation to assist 110 rural churches in the Ba’Kelalan constituency in Sarawak, said Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.

“The grant will be disbursed based on the request submitted by the respective churches, some needing repair and other newly built,” he said while officiating the eight series of the Yayasan Hijau Malaysia (YaHijau) Tour Programme at the Kampung Long Tuan Cultural House in Trusan, near Lawas.
