Helicopter carrying VIPs reported missing in Sarawak

KUCHING: A helicopter believed to be carrying several VIPs was reported missing while flying from Betong to Kuching in Sarawak.  

According to reports, the helicopter lost contact at 5pm Thursday near Sebuyau.  

Department of Civil Aviation director Datuk Azharudin Abdul Rahman said that a search and rescue operation for the missing helicopter has been launched.
