SIBU: To defeat diabetes, stop buying sugar to save money and be healthy, said Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam (pic) before officiating the state-level World Health Day celebrations at the Permai Lake Garden here.

"Take care of your diet. Tell the people of Sibu not to eat sugar – take this message to the longhouses, to the kampungs. This is a dangerous disease, we must control it," the Health Minister warned.
