Rude awakening for residents after scare

PETALING JAYA: Residents of the high-end Metropolitan Square condominium had a rude awakening in the early hours of the morning when they were ordered to evacuate the 23-storey building in Damansara Perdana after police found explosives in one of the units.

“There was a raid at about three to four in the morning at block C of the apartments here. I heard some banging on doors,” said unit owner Hafidz Baharom.
