NARATHIWAT: The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry plans to sell controlled items in Malaysia to the Thai market to curb smuggling activities, said its Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.
He said over the years, a wide range of subsidised goods such as cooking oil and flour from Malaysia were smuggled and sold widely in Thailand, especially in Sungai Golok.
