DOE: Sg Nyiur contaminated with high E-Coli content

KUANTAN: Test results of the water sample of Sungai Nyior at the Balok Baru housing area here that was released on April 13 revealed that the river was contaminated with a high level of E-Coli content.

The director of the Department of Environment (DOE) Pahang, Rosli Zul said the bacterial content is usually found in river waters due to human sewage plant discharge of waste or waste of faeces from animal farms.
