NIBONG TEBAL: A 35-year-old police lance corporal opened fire twice at a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) driver after the man tried to run him down near the Sungai Jawi toll plaza here.
The policeman from the Sungai Acheh station was on patrol with three of his colleagues in a car when they saw the MPV with its engine still running at about 1am yesterday.
